ISL are fully committed to health, safety and the environment and aim to achieve ‘zero tolerance’ and we believe this is achievable by having proactive measures in our processes through to assessing and identifying the risks and trying to eliminate the risk.

 

Our policy states that the accountability is that of the director of the company through to the operatives on the ground, we lead by example by ensuring:

• The director will have weekly board meetings with Health and Safety top of the Agenda.

• The director will have regular Health and Safety meetings with our H & S Advisors, Key Solutions

• The director will carry out monthly safety tours & audits.

• The director will review all processes and procedures when required.

• The director attend client briefings and seminars.

• ALL staff to attend annual half a day safety stop briefings.

• Managers and supervisors ensure daily and weekly site inspections are carried out and are measured by achievable targets.

• Managers and supervisors ensure weekly toolbox talks are carried out with our teams and are measured by achievable targets.

• Managers and supervisors attend monthly health and safety briefings.

• Our teams attend monthly health and safety briefings.

• Our teams complete a daily risk assessment as a minimum.
