TOOLBOX TALKS
Intervention Services regularly carry out toolbox talks with it's staff and operatives. A toolbox talk is an informal group presentation and discussion where day to day safety issues are discussed. They are designed to make people ware of hazards and how to prevent them.
Intervention Services have designed and provided toolbox talks that are specific to our type of work. Our toolbox talks cover a wide range of topics, including:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Working in Public Areas
Emergency First Aid
Fire Safety
COSHH and Spilage Control Procedures
Vehicle Checks and Defect Reports Procedures
Manual Handling
Vibration and HAVS
Dust Control, Asbestos and Noise
Slips, Trips and Falls
Working at Height
Along with regular talks every month, Intervention Services have provided each of our teams a health and safety pack that contain print-outs of our talks which can be used when on site.
